Review

After the new release of Hanover, the Munster/ Osnabruck X is the newest addition to the German Airports 2 series for the Flight Simulator X and 2004. The Munster/Osnabruck X software was created with superb quality and realism with excellent frame rates. Included with this software is the FS2004 version.

In the continuous tradition, German Airport series Munster/Osnabruck is fully designed with the latest, up-to-date layouts, buildings, objects, runways, taxiways, detailed lighting system, and navigational aides. A highly modified photorealistic aerial was used for the ground texturing to make the Airport and its surroundings more realistic to the user(s). The whole range of objects, detailed features, and the excellent frame rate will remain.

Features that are included in the German Airports 2- Munster/Osnabruck are: highly detailed virtual replica of airport surroundings, photo realistic ground textures, airport buildings, airport institutions, realistic navigational system, new night effects, runway and taxiway lighting, scenery effects, information manual, and the original DFS charts.

In addition the FS2004 has dynamic airport services which allow creation of modified traffic for vehicles on the apron and ‘autobahn’ for added safety precautions, and is compatible with AES (Airport Enhancement Services).
Advantages
  • Modified details and features
Disadvantages
  • Can be complicating for beginners
